Hi,

I'm new to both collecting, and to the forum.
I found this 1974 double headed penny in a roll. I'm assuming it's a fake? Is this even possible as a legitimate error?

Yah. Probably. Their is a low possibility, but it would probably also have the marks or the obverse AND reverse on one side.

To CCF! I agree it's a Magician's coin. PSD. Altered.

Thanks. I do notice now, the ridge around the edge in the first photo, where one was likely seated into the other.

Actually that is not the double faced coin you would want. A tails/tails is better. Why? Most of the time on a coin flip, heads is called. Want to win, don't use this coin for your coin toss.
