1964-D Jefferson Nickel- Can Someone Identify What Happened To Coin?

AliLyn Valued Member United States 88 Posts	Posted 08/28/2019 12:34 am I am new and this is my first time posting, I apologize if this is not in correct place. I received this coin in change today and thought it was stuck in a garbage disposal or something but after looking closer I am not so sure now. I have taken some close ups, but there is a lot of other areas all over on both sides with damage and I'm just wondering if anyone can possibly tell me if it's PMD or not?
