Earlier in the year I would get a few 2019 quarters in change from my morning coffee. Within the last month I've been getting all of the 2018's, mostly the Pictured Rocks. So it struck me. Was the release and marketing hype of the West Point issues a hidden agenda by the mint to pump out billions of uncirculated quarters stored in the vaults from past years? Haven't got a single 2019 in over a month.

Very fishy...

Nahhh. I absolutell see and am experiencing what you are saying but it's the armored carriers not rotating their stock properly and burying new stuff under circulated returns and digging out pilea of circulated returns and finding pallets of 2018 coins in the warehouse/vault (basically it's a warehouse)

It's just poor stock management. A quarter is a quarter to them they don't care as long as it doesn't go missing.
Rest in Peace

Depends a lot on where you live, too. Less populated areas far from any mint get the dregs of whatever everyone else stacked on top.

I've noticed the same thing around here. Almost no 2019 quarters. But the same thing happens for some of the 2018 quarters too. I couldn't find the 2018 Pictured Rocks for months then all of the sudden found 5 in change in a single week (This was just over the summer). I think armored carriers are the issue as well. The bank wrapped rolls here haven't had many 2017-2018 quarters in them let alone 2019.

Just to add my 2 cents on this quarter thing..About 3 months ago I went to a "drop city" looking for 2019 rolls, asked the teller if she had new rolls (back story - was for a slot machine I bought for my mother) she asked the teller next to her, got rolls of Voyageurs NP..so either the bank or their supplier are not rotating the stock..I plan on returning to that branch towards the end of the year
