Does anyone have an opinion if this spot on the reverse (I don't dare try and wipe it.....make a difference on value? I think it will grade PF-68DCam but I'm worried about that spot?

Nevertheless, its a beautiful
For my own reference, what I do, is to take a point away for every spot, carbon or scratch.

Well the drop is $810 if I drop even one point, ugggh!
PF-67Cam is $55
PF-68DCam is $865

That hurts.....I bet it's a drop of glue from the packing it came in years ago? Bought this in an a local auction! Bentley auctions in Albuquerque from an estate! Paid $120

I'm not seeing a cameo. That is just how they looked back them until 1964. Pretty common to find in proof cents. The spot is a do not touch. It will be an impaired proof if you mess with it. Best to leave it alone.

A familiar milk or saliva spot on proof coins . Just forget about it , there is nothing that can be done to remove it .
Like coop says this is not a cameo proof . What we call a Brilliant proof .

All proofs have a mirrored look, a cameo proof has frosted devices, a dcam has heavily frosted devices and a strong contrast to the rest of the coin.
