HELLO EVERYONE!! Newbie here but have been collecting since a child. I'm just getting into the whole potential error side of collecting. Here are a couple of quarters I found. Would love some feedback, anything helps with the learning curve. :)P.S- I love to jump right in and start with a boom. So I added a bunch of pictures.

Agreed, also there is a difference between an error and a variety. Just a FYI.It also helps us if you tell us what you are seeing on each coin.

Good pictures. I agreed with member above. You'll see this type of MD on quarters a lot. I remember asking the exact same question not too long ago.

Cheers

Actually that is not die scratches. These devices are incuse on the coin. So coin coin contact appears to flow behind, but the damage is on the tops of the fields. Also you can see see Machine Doubling on the second image. 70% of these ATB Quarters have Machine Doubling, whether minor or strong. So they are very common to find on this series. The read hub doubling is in the central areas on the designs.
