I recently asked about this dime but I think the pictures were not showing the entire dime.

My question is about the quality of the strike with die flow lines. The examples I saw had die flow lines and the strike lacked details.

My dime (to me) seems to have been struck well?

Exceptional obverse example of die flow lines. May we see the reverse too?

Note how the die flow does flow over the tops of the devices? It is an issue with the die having die flow lines on the fields. Normal as the die ages.

Thank you for responses.

I will send a pic of the reverse when I get home.

Does a coin like this hold any value?

Coop can you rephrase your question please.
Not to sure what you meant.

But in general, a coin can have heavy die flow lines and detailed features from a good strike?

I absolutely love this coin. It's like looking at a reflector baseball card. I got it at my local grocery store in change.

The answer to your question is yes...I also like the look and if you like it, keep it safe (2x2) and label as stated above..One collection is what one likes...I have a folder of the ugliest cents I have come across and I down grade year and mm examples all the time...main thing is to have fun and enjoy your collection... would be nice to see the reverse

I do have in a nice little 2x2 . I took it out to get a better picture.

Thank again for the replies.

Thank you sticky fingers.

If this coin went up for sale what ball park price range do you think it would sell for?
