Strong counterclockwise rotation on this one with devices not reduced and notching evident, A in states almost looks triple striked. Let me know what you guys think, pictures really don't do this one justice

That's Die Deterioration Doubling, from the die getting worn down from striking a ton of planchets at the U.S Mint.

Die Deterioration even with split serifs? especially evident on the center bar of the E in CENT? not questioning your feedback just trying to learn how to spot a true DDR

You may have splits, but it wasn't caused by a DDR unfortunately. Machine Doubling and Die Deterioration Doubling can cause what we think are "splits" and stuff. Here's what a true Doubled Die looks like. Scroll down to WDDR-003, to see what a true Doubled Die Reverse. http://doubleddie.com/828886.html

Also, reading up on how Doubled Dies are created will help you tremendously as well. http://doubleddie.com/58222.html

On the obverse die there is a strong over polishing issue that weakened the date and right side of the bust area. But I'm not seeing a DDR on this coin. The ONE CENT area has been polished down probably to remove a clash from the head on the reverse. But nothing really stands out.
