Anyone know how common die clashes are on Ike's? Last night's coin inspired me to look through one of my bags and it seems like 1 in 10 has a die clash. Though it's strength varies.

Here's an overlay. I hope I did it right this time.

Let me know if this helps.

I know but I'm not fond of it, I do occasionally use it as a reference. The do have a list of clash marks. The jaw is the most obvious to me on these http://www.ikegroup.info/?page_id=44

I think you're a little off both the U and the Jaw Line marks look slightly higher in all the pictures I've looked at, but cool none the less.

This is what I think it is.

The 72 is pretty similar.

I know these are clashes, I just don't know how common it is or if it would ad any value.

I have an old version of Photoshop CS5 v12.0 x64 that I use to post my photos and other images on CCF.

I'm a photographer and I bought CS5 about 9 years ago and it would have cost $600 if I remember correctly. I had a Motorsports Photography business back then and got it for $199 when I bought a graphics table and pen from Waycom.

It's a monthly subscription now that cost from $10 to $83 per month.

I do see a Die Clash, but it's very minor. Most of it was polished off.

To answer my own question, it is very common in Denver coins.
