Its a good "investment" if you enjoy it. Price of any object depends on having something that some one wants :)

Any set of coins can be worth it if the price was right . Me , I enjoy putting together my own coins that I pick out one at a time to complete a set . It all boils down to what ever floats your boat . BTW ,I saw some uncirculated Quarters in there with low circ. coins and even a details coin ( 1939-D ). Not a great way to collect a full set in my opinion .

The vast majority of coins in this collection are only worth melt. For the key date/higher grade coins, you can look at sold listings on ebay to get an idea of what they are going for. to CCF!

I think this would've better suited the main forum possibly and not the grading side. I am fairly okay at grading and price gathering, I'm assuming I can get a $30 minimum for both 1932d and 32s quarters and probably right now a $10 minimum for the nicer 3 quarters. Then the rest being melt value.
Also does that look like some sort of die crack on the 1940s on the right wing of the eagle? To me it looks like a clearly raised surface under magnification. I purchased this set for $175. Melt value is $122 at full weight so just selling the 32 quarters brings the melt value down to 115 and then plus $60 minimum is back to my value.
I kinda was hoping to just inspire someone to maybe start a new set. I'm excited to have a set I can upgrade. Its actually the only complete book I have other than Lincoln cents 1941-1975 and then 1976-2019. I actually don't have a 2019 p yet....... So I think its worth buying a full set of silver if you can get it barely above melt :D
Thanks for the welcoming, I appreciate all of you.

I think for the price you paid you did well. You can always build on it upgrading them over time.

Melt + the $170 for the key dates is about right
