Hello I have read about these notes but I am confused as to whether my notes are of any value. I bought 3 for my grandchildren ages ago but was told they are only worth about $30-$40 each. I have Googled for 3 days before finding your site. Can anyone please help ? Many thanks in advanced.
The numbers are in order are:

Thanks Jbuck me too ! By the way just a note on this particular $10 (No pun intended )If anyone decides to collect these and cannot get them like this but loose notes. Be sure you get these notes have the date on obverse side with the date 26 January 1988 above the ship mast other wise it is just a general circulation $10 note.

There were some that went into circulation and some sold in folders. about 800k in folders, all with AA serials and 26 January 1988 printed in blue on the back of the note. These still in folders are worth around 30-50. The AA00 and AA23 serials are the ones to look out for in the folders and are 100+. There was also about 500 staff folders printed which are worth 500+ but I dont know exact dollar amounts.
The circulated ones that arent first/ last prefix go for face up to 70 odd ive seen, with first and last prefix ones going from 50 to 2k+ depending on condition. I like these, very different from our usual 10 dollar notes and I have quite a few of them stashed away both circulated and folder ones but none of the big value ones unfortunately ;)

TL;DR yes the valuation is around 30-50 with 800k made in folders with an extra date print on the back
