Over the past coupe of years I have purchased die clash
George VI 50 Cent Pieces. You can see the line cutting
across the lion and its staff and see his lips near the
unicorns staff. On the most recent purchase 1946, I see the
clash marks on the obverse as well, It is in an ICCS holder
MS-62 (5 digit old tag), the 1943 is BU (toned) and the 1945
is UNC+ (toned). Take a look. Sorry for the photos, it is
hard to pick up those lines on a shiny white coin in glare.

The George VI 50c Die Clashes are an interesting item to collect. You can find them in most years, but I have never found them for 1947 or 1948. In the years 1937 to 1942 you will find them as a faint line through rhe crown on the Reverse and as a small bud in the King's ear on the Obverse. In the years 1943 to 1946 they just have increased the strike pressure as the complete outline of the King's head can be found on the Reverse, sometimes doubled which would indicate multiple clashes of the dies. The bud in the ears is more pronounced on the Obverses and you can find spikes around the kings hair and often clash marks in front of the King's face.
1949 seems to be a transitionary year.... somet coins can be foundd with the 1943-1946 characteristics, and the later 1949 through 1952 clash marks have completely different characteristics. The Reverse Die Clashes will show as a line through the three lions section of the shield which reaches down to touch the top of the harp section of the shield. On the Obverse the clash marks in the King's ear are much busier. My belief is that when the Mint received their Janvier machine, they recontoured the King's bust on later dies and this was the cause of the difference in the Die Clash characteristiics on the later 50c die clashes and the coins.

Further on the subject of George VI 50c Die Clashes., something to look out for.... on some George1940, 1945 and 1949 50c coins you can find Die Clash Marks between the last two date digits and sometimes you will find the Obverse point of contact.... it is the 'GEO' of the King's name. The only thing that I can think of is that one of the dies was tilted when they struck..and this was the area of the Clash rather than the Kings effigy and the reverse shield.
