Remember over 60 percent of 1972 pennies exhibit master hub doubling, way to common, however, there are also lots of nice Doubled does to be found.

The master die is a bit more pronounced than this coin:
Is-This-Hub-Doubling-Or-Nothing-At-All?
But what is the best thing to look at first for doubled die on the 1972 cents?

The date. Note what to look for on the DDO's on the date area. (note white arrows on the images)
