The grade looks EF-45 but even though it is in a PCGS holder, the surfaces do not look original.

I don't feel strongly about it being dipped.

With the Frog.

If it were dipped wouldn't the Halo be gone?

No expert. Just a question?

It doesn't look dipped to me, it looks like an old cleaning that has album toned over the years. Most of the surface is bright with the exception of the gold toning. It doesn't have the gray circulation look to it like an original surface coin. At any rate, PCGS gave it a pass.

Without knowing the history on the coin, I would not automatically put this coin in dipped group. The obverse looks like it could be orginal.
Rest in Peace

I don't like how they blocked some the cert. number. I'm always suspect of that, what are they hiding?

The surfaces look okay to me. The PCGS cert number is 37217407. You can get it off the QR code on the back.

weak strike is typical for this coin. this one is average maybe a little better than that. if it was dipped it was a long time ago and is market acceptable. I think its a solid XF45 and maybe a tad better. the price is good
