Figure Skater Quarter New Date - Coin Community Forum

malibu Valued Member Canada 304 Posts	Posted 09/16/2008 2:38 pm In some other thread somebody mentioned the figure skater quarter is a no-show. I checked today at RBC and they have been advised to expect it Nov 18, 2008. Is there trouble at the mints? The sterling silver hologram skater is also delayed. This would be produced in Ottawa while the circs come from Winnipeg so its a mystery why the skaters aren't here. I'll be in the Winnipeg mint Oct 10, I'll ask what happened to our skaters! I'll have to try and get a few of those quarters for my daughter. She figure skates and I'm getting her into the hobby of coin collecting also.
