quick question about a 1993 LMC with obvious split plating but on the opposite side of the colums what am I looking at?

I think that "shadow" you're seeing is caused by Die Deterioration, since it has a ghost-like appearance. Might be Die Deterioration Doubling, but I need others to chime in later, to be sure.

I am also wondering if that was caused by over abraiding the die?
