I have these 2 Morgan silver dollars and need some help.
They're suppose to weigh 26.73 grams. One is a 1878 C
C and only weighs 19.7 grams. The other is 1882 O and weighs 26.6 grams. Is that much weight loss normal and what are their value?Any help would be great.

19.7 grams would be a cast fake. The 1882 would be worth about $20, the 1878 is worth nothing.

After reading this I weighed all my peace and Morgan dollars. All weighed ~26.7 grams. It is bad when we have to start weighing our coins!
