I think it's heavy Die Deterioration. You can see the die flow lines on the obverse. Keep hunting!

Die detoriation + die detoriation doubling. Is that supposed to be an error?

Thank You for the info. For such type of doubling like mine. Is it safe to say then that its a 1955 Jefferson nickle DDO? Because even thou it had detoration, it also shows doubledie?

No. It is not a doubled hub,it is a worn die issue. Also,it seems your photos are a bit blurry or is it just me?
