Thanks everyone I really like this one and it's in great condition gonna keep it anyway if for nothing else, at least as a reference. Hey Dan thanks appreciate it, I use a macro lens with light filter and 5 degree or so base tilt to help eliminate most of the light into the lens, still difficult on the shiny ones though

Thanks coop I see now the difference. Could the die that created the DDO-001 have been polished down and used again? Mine seems like has abraded remnants of the previous strike that weren't cleaned up well enough, especially the LIB

No it is a normal coin. Note the enclosed areas? They are smaller than your coin has.
