I Have a question I've been working on putting a set of Colonial coins together and I wanted to know if there is an album out there for them? They all seem to be around 28mm...Does Dansco or Harco CoinMaster make one?

Dansco does not make such a creature and I doubt if anyone else does either. What are you calling "Colonial Coinage"? Just the state issues? Colonials encompass much more than that and there are multiple denominations in varying sizes. You also have to keep in mind minting technology at the time- it was on crude presses turned by hand or with animals and no collars were involved. This created coins with variable diameters so some coins would be too big or small for album holes. Some are quite rare and many are quite expensive so I think it would be maddening for anyone trying to complete that album and few would have the resources to actually do it. With that said, If you are only collecting colonials that have approx diameters of 28mm, then Dansco has blank 28mm pages(16 holes) and blank album covers- you could create your own album the way you want it

Or in the case of the Vermont Landscape Colonials, harnessing water power via a water wheel! As biokemist6 already stated, there is not an album for Colonials. The Airtite brand holders are great also. If the coins are slightly larger than 28MM, get the next larger Airtite. The Dansco pages would work also. Good luck!

I'm thinking about adding a blank 28mm page to my Dansco 7070 for Colonial coins instead of adding the gold page.

Yes, that the the plain one that just says "Coins" on it. I have a couple of them for my "miscellaneous" albums and one for my custom "Indian-Buffalo-Mercury" album.

Whitman also used to sell blank album covers, blank pages for all sorts of different sized coins. They used to also sell Gold looking press on letters/numbers sheets. I say used to since I haven't checked for a while. With the press on letters/numbers you can title each coin, the album cover, etc. I've made many albums for all sorts of coin varieties. Also, for some of my albums from a long time ago I keep adding pages and adding the dates/mint marks with those press on things.

I picked up a nice green leatherette "scrapbook", with 8X10 card stock inside plastic sleeves at Michael's Arts and Crafts. I'm putting together a "Century" collection. I was born in 1947, so I've collected all the coins minted in that year, as well as all coins minted in 1847. I have separate pages for 1747, 1647 etc, going back to the first century. I've been creating my pages on the computer, entering pertinent data for each year or century, then mounting the coins on each page using high quality flips. Doing it this way, I'm able to put comments about the coins, what value they had in their day (3 shillings bought a bushel of flour in 1747(. Anyway, it's just a suggestion.
