I have a ton of these coins with square holes in them, but don't know where to start in identifying them. Does anyone know much about these?

Offhand, I see several that are from the reign of Kao Tsung (1736-1795, Ch'ing Dynasty) plus at least three of Hsuan Tsung (1821-1850, also Ch'ing Dynasty) all of which are quite common. If you can show the reverses, it'd be possible to identify the specific mints from which they originated.

They are called cash coins, but if you give Lucky Cuss the reverse, it looks like they might just tell you what they are.

I'll add that short of buying the book mentioned, here's a website that is very helpful for sorting out coins of the Ch'ing dynasty (which will comprise the vast majority of cash coins you'll encounter):
