I know this coin has seen many pockets and change drawers but I still thought it was interesting because it looks like it's delaminating. I don't know that the mint was responsible for this but any info or opinions on it will be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. That is indeed what it looks like. I'd never heard the term before so I clicked the link and read the description and it makes total sense and was a fun read to boot.
