1878 8TF Morgan, Need Help Identifying Possible VAM

HumblePie Pillar of the Community United States 1217 Posts	Posted 09/30/2019 11:13 am I bought this at an Estate Sale a couple years ago.I went through the VAM World list and got overwhelmed trying to identify this coin. I only have a cheaper usb cam for pictures so please excuse the quality and it's almost impossible for me to take a full pic of a Morgan with my setup. I'm retired now and plan on having some fun with coins and will need a much better scope. any suggestions on something good would be greatly appreciated. I'm willing to spend up to a couple hundred. SeatedNut Pillar of the Community United States 2797 Posts	Posted 09/30/2019 4:03 pm You've got a VAM 6. BTW, all Morgan and Peace silver dollars are VAMs. A VAM is just the catalog number of the particular obverse and reverse die marriage. Report this Post to the Staff
