In what way is your coin, sorry your picture is a little out of focus, any different than this mint image.

I wonder how many are out there can't just be one? I imagine people may not look for that sort of thing! I'm going to start looking!

I see two thing wrong with the OPs' coin that makes me go hmmm. One is the maple leaf like was pointed out and the other is slapping us in the face. There are not supposed to be dots around the edge of the obverse of this coin.
The 2017 Canada 25 cent coin with the caribou has the dots but not the 150th anniversary variety. Possible mule coin? 2017 Caribou obverse with 2017 150th Anniversary reverse?
From my research the 2017 Caribou coins were only released in Specimen and Proof sets. Not meant for circulation.

Good point, Mont. I noticed the font difference, but somehow completely ignored the dots/no dots!

Interesting find! You've got everyone looking now. No telling how rare this will actually be for at least few months. Hang on to it!
BTW, the Queen is the front (obverse) of the coin, the other side is the back (reverse), you may want to change the title here to avoid confusion.

Did you find this in a set or was it from circulation? Congrats.

Welcome to this forum Jeffmrtn.
Is it possible for you to take a picture of your coin with a small mirror behind it so we can see both sides of the coin in the same picture.
Thanks a million

Ok I took a picture in a mirror but the reflection makes the queen side backwards in not backwards
