Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum but have been collecting coins for years now since my childhood and have come across something odd in a mint set I recently purchased. I was wondering if this is an error of sorts. I have not cracked open the case housing this coin yet but can do so for better pictures if that may be necessary. The obverse and reverse don't seem to be aligned on the Mercury dime compared to the Franklin half dollar. Thanks for your time.

To CCF! Might be a minor Rotated Die error.

It looks like the it's a slightly rotated die. Most collectors like to see 90 degrees of rotation before it classifies as an error, with the most desirable rotation at 180 degrees. I don't know the rotation on your coin would add anything to the value.

to CCF. It is a rotated die,and not off enough for most collectors. I would keep it though. You said you bought a mint set, that set is not a U.S. mint set it is after market just so you know.
