Latest find. Not too bad condition. Very prominent double 'S'. A worthy addition.

It is a nice one. As always pictures are ok but do no justice. Beautiful luster and very pleasing to the eye. Very little toning but really nice bright 'nickel' metal shine, as it should be. But the tone there when reflected is very nice. Subtle. Really happy with this one, and bringing a tough find with the SS is a added plus.

John1...I never mind laying out cost and source. Always feel free to ask. I did bid on this one on ebay from Allegiance Rare Coins (see pic below). I won at $152. I did get a message I was outbid and had to stay on the computer for that last five minutes and employ some tactical maneuvers. . Lol. But I prevailed. .

At AU58 as grape pointed out, that's about a $150 coin (earlier posted $250. Error. I corrected with edit). So about break even.

If it made it higher to say MS64. from maybe eye appeal, and it is a fairly reasonable strike IMO, then it would be ~$400. I think on a good TPG day, and comparing comparable PCGS MS63/64 sales, it could pass muster for a grade in that area. But overall not a money coin. My guess is somewhere in that bandwidth AU58 to MS64. But just good to have it.
