2005 Penny Multiple Errors - Coin Community Forum

3wheels New Member United States 42 Posts	Posted 10/05/2019 10:29 am Hi Everyone, Could use a little help and guidance. I found a 2005 penny with a few errors, but it's in mixed condition. Wondering if it's worth getting certified/graded due to errors as they seem to be rare ones. There is a doubled ear down by the earlobe, and the roof looks to be floating. There is very faint line for the roof if you use a microscope, but to the human eye its definitely floating. I am attaching pictures so that you can see where the damage is as well as the errors. muddyknuckles Valued Member United States 272 Posts	Posted 10/05/2019 11:20 am Ear definately looks doubled the black spot on the reverse appears to be zinc rot but I suspect by size and color could possibly be mold. Awaiting expert opinions on this one not a bad cent. Was it found crh? Report this Post to the Staff
