HI good people,

Please help with the below scenarios and if these errors are know of and if so...what is there ID and value? I have looked butt over for the this variety but I'm not having any luck.

Notice the extra under the bust of Lincoln; There is extra die...raised die exceeding past the bottom of the bust. The image below looks like a the scenario is completely dented but it's not. The lighting is playing trick on the image.

You should post each coin as its own topic in this section of the forum: http://goccf.com/f/5

You'll probably get answers quicker

Pic1 looks like die gouges or from die abrasion.
Pic2 and 3 look like die chips.
No added value.

After seeing this I'm happy with my decision to pursue paper money.

Is breaking out a loop or microscope typical for finding coin errors ?

I use my scope on every coin I look at. It saves time and you can see if anything is going on with the coin in seconds. Then on to the next one. If something is there, I set it aside for a second look.
