Well the good thing is they can be taken back to the bank when I'm done searching (-) what I find? I'll add photos to this post as I go through each roll!

Hello Sarge50

Your rotated half looks like a magician coin.

Is that a seem along the reverse edge?

If you tap on it, it should sound hollow.

LOM.....I swear I though you were being sarcastic but I tapped on it and it DID SOUND HALLOW? Like the skin of reverse is loose? What the heck does that mean? What does magician coin mean? Yes, E&V - I am looking for silver and variations! This is going to be a Long, long process, YIKES!
Rest in Peace

Search Magicians Coins and you will thousands of hits.

The coin is cut apart, the inside of the lower part is hollowed out, the back part usually has a small block on the inside to allow the parts to be easily separated.

A magician coin is just a novelty coin.

The Magician's coin is still worth keeping though. It's worth a small premium on ebay.

The same way this was setup, can even hide perhaps a different type of reverse. Like a 1964 Silver half dollar and a Franklin half dollar. So when you find some thing odd about a coin, check to see if it was altered or not. How? Weight differences, also look on the rim to see if there is a double line on the rim:

Note where the inset was added?

mdpm....I'm still in SHOCK! I have already passed at least 1 more of these in a few rolls I previously went through with that weird seam but the coin was not in collectable Condition! Gotta go back through the 8 rolls, that was crazy finding that!

Ok, now I found something REAL! Coop said if doubling was to the Left it was a DD because it made devises larger not smaller? Here is a 1973-D with this doubling!
