1964 P Roosevelt Dime. Either Extremely Well Struck BU Or SMS?

Jim0815 Pillar of the Community United States 5239 Posts	Posted 10/08/2019 3:30 pm I have this 1964 P Roosevelt dime and after Looking at it under magnification it is a pretty stunning coin. The very first thing that I noticed was the date, the 9 and the 6 are not pointed but instead are blunt and looks cut off. The 4 is also strong even at the bottom towards the rim. The 1 shows virtually no serif at the upper part of the 1. There is also a slight raised mark on the neck right behind the ear. Every 1964 Roosevelt dime I own with the exception of this one has a pointed 9 and 6. The rim is extremely squared compared to all the other 1964 dimes I have. I am not claiming this coin to be the real deal but its a beautiful extremely white colored coin nonetheless. The fourth pic is that of a normal 1964 Roosevelt dime. Report this Post to the Staff
