That is called Machine Doubling. The coin was struck struck the die moves a bit and altered those areas on the fresh new coin. They are not a doubled die as a doubled die is created with doubling, on the die. This was caused by the machine and it reduces the normal devices. But even a doubled die can be affected the same way. Struck with a doubled die and altered by Machine Doubling. What would that look like?

This is 4 different examples of Machine Doubling (yellow arrows) on a doubled die. Well know 1969-D DDO-001. There are probably less than 100 examples of these and a very large percentage of even these are affected with MD. In fact the 1968-1972 era cents probably have the most machine doubled examples.

Something strange happening to me today. (To add to the other physical heath issues) When laying down, just moving my head, and everything started spinning. Rested most of the day. But tends to go away when I get up and move around a bit. (Kind of like Vertigo)

Well today is the first time this has happened. The last time at the doc, my blood pressure was fine. I'm not taking anything for meds so far. Meds don't work for me. Was having a sever cough from a BP med in the past, got rid of everything (even vitamins and herbs, they didn't improve anything) and doing better without meds. So until I have to, I'm staying away from them.

I agree, Machine Doubling. Toss it into your Wheat cent pile.

Coop;
If you have been prescribed medicine for HBP, you need to take it or tell your Doctor to prescribe another one. You are displaying a minor symptom of a stroke. Not a serious stroke but HBP induced. Blood pressure really has no symptoms until it happens.
There are MANY deceased people that felt fine.
If that worries you, it was intended too.
I had no indication of HBP until one day at work about 25 years ago, I stood up and everything went black for about 10 seconds.

Take care, Coop. If you haven't seen your doctor since this incident, please at least call him (or her).
