The various dings/gouges seriously detract from it. I can see it as AU but I think it gets a "details" annotation.

On the UK grading this would get VF or GVF. Too many small scratches and dings for anything higher, but a nice coin for any collector. US Sheldon scale is typically 2 grades higher I believe.

Probably low AU by US standards, but pretty chewed up.
