i have seen some of the 69 - no FG coins. I am aware that the no "FG" is merely a die polishing issue. I thin that all of them that I have seen - also have the "floating roof" polishing issue associated with it ...

i have a 1988P - no "FG" - but it also does not have the "floating roof"

i know this is not a valuable coin...just a fun find (in my opinion)...

just sharing a coin find...that's all

I think I still see some of the FG.Value 1¢ or copper value even if the FG was all missing.

Question to all' Why would the FG be polished out of the die? No clash marks would be in that location........

To me it appears as an example of a coin that was struck through a die that was heavily polished. Note the devices on AMERICA are thinned. Also a lot of heavy die scratches are present. But as already mentioned, no premium for this.
