I did show this coin a few years back but have since purchased a new camera and these new pictures show this clash much better.
This one has quite the clash below the refinery also and If you look real close you can see the bridge of the nose running between the E & N in cent.

Cheers, Bil

Bill, that is fantastic. You ever find one on the obverse side of the 1951 commemorative?

Hi Roger, I've not seen any obverse clash that come close to what can be found on the reverse for the 1951 commemorative.
Do you have a theory as to why this is, even this one has minimal signs of a clash on the obverse.
On another note I ran into a friend of yours at the Coin-O-Rama in Oshawa yesterday. He owns the Le 30 Sou coin shop, we talked for quite some time.
He seems very nice and he also had a lot of nice raw coins that were graded properly. (I was impressed)

Cheers, Bill

Nice that you met them Bill. Richard and his son (le 30 Sou) are great. They are collectors turned coin dealers, so they have an appreciation for varieties and errors. When the son was younger, and learning English, I spent a lot of time with him teaching him how to grade mint state coins. They have a fantastic coin shop in Gatineau. They rarely have anything I need for my registry sets, but I do buy the occasional error from them. Their table at Coin Expo is across from where I used to have my table (in the Collector's Corner), we overlapped several years, before I stopped doing shows.
