Most of the re-punching on the T is on the lower left side. With coin wear the upright of the T appears wider at the bottom. A higher grade example of P11 will show the re-punching better like the photo on the Reverse P11 page in the link below. https://www.vickycents.com/rev-p11.html Gidjit, I think you are the first to use one of the new catalog #'s on the forum. TerryT Pillar of the Community Canada 818 Posts	Posted 10/22/2019 7:30 pm You can see the doubled T in your first photo, left side of the stand of the T, and a toe sticking out of the left foot. Here's a late stage reverse. The lower right area has a raised ridge which makes you look at the other side to see if it's dented (it's not). There are more die cracks than you can count, and raised and incused clash marks (raised marks by the O, in the N, on the C, and over the E). On the obverse, there is a half-bead clash above the queen, and full beads in front of and below the queen. Report this Post to the Staff
Phil310 Pillar of the Community United States 1101 Posts	Posted 10/23/2019 10:08 am That's a nice late state P11 TerryT. Your first photo shows the reverse die collapse very well. There are quite a few 1859 reverse dies with die collapse and I have always found to be them very interesting. It would be fun to start a thread where collectors can post their 1859 die collapse photos although it's sometimes hard to get a good photo of them. Report this Post to the Staff
