Hello all,

Here is a center bay column doubled die that is more interesting than other center bay column doubled dies.

Thanks Errers and Varietys,

First time looking at the uploaded pics and noticing some possible clashing under the stairs... will check later.

It looks like part of the memorial rather than a clash. It might be a DDR? But hard to tell what is exactly. The statue is showing one thing, under the base, it looks like something unrelated? Check to see if there is any glue under that base?

@coop,

I took a loupe to it and I could not see it at all

No glue but here are some added pictures with light at different angles.

I may have to send this one out for a second in hand opinion on what is below the steps.

As for you saying... it looks like part of the memorial, it does look like steps in pictures 1, 2, and 3... especially 1 and 2.

Thanks for reviewing and commenting.

Question: Are these lines raised on the field, or incuse?
Raised lines would mean a die issue.
Incuse (sunk into the fields) would be damage to the coin.

The third image shows what I saw in the upper images. Under the base it looks like Mater Teeth.

So the issue I'm seeing is that the DDR on the 6th column looks like a rotated bar. The steps look like they are horizontal. the design that shows under looks like part of a column design. So it does look different than any I've seen before.

Incuse? I cant even see it with a loupe. So, what you see is what I see.

CRDieVarieties does not have this one listed. So, I will sent it over there once I hear he is accepting coins for attribution again.

You are right about the teeth part

Well he does have a scope. So he might be the best one to look at it.
