I dont know why but this penny has been scraped pretty bad but the underlying layer appears to be silver. . .

@mw88, can you please post a couple overall pics of this coin? Also, please post the weight of this piece. The chance that it is actually silver is infinitesimal, but having this additional info will help us to confirm what you have. Thx.
