These were in the same lot as the WW1 medals posted earlier. I have had no luck searching online since I'm not completely sure what these are. Any ideas? The pictorial one is about 38mm.

Define exonumia, and I can give an opinion as to whether these are or are not.

Definitions can be slippery, and quite often objects fall into more than one category.

A general broad definition of exonumia, Would be an item that has coin or coin related items on it or made from them. Although as been said for some reason certain items seem to fall in the category. Your Items would seem to be more in line with military memorable. The problem with WWI items is the majority of collectors or people with an interest in it have or are dying off . Which will limit both the price people will pay and the number of collectors. As with a lot of things our parents collected,do not have a following among the younger ones. As a matter of fact the young people don't seem tp be much into collecting anything.
