Aren't all Lincoln cents 3.1 grams this one weighs 3.21 and the patina is a strange purplish gold hue anyone have any idea could it be on a transitional planchet or some type of foreign planchet

Double check your scale. It should weigh 3.1 grams +/- .13 grams. It also looks cleaned.

That is the proper weight but there is a slight tolerance, which your coin falls within. post 1982 pennies are lighter.

That is what a proof for that year looks like it was minted in Philadelphia and would have no mint mark.

Your coin is .03 grams out of tolerance which isn't significant If you find one that weighs 3.6 or 7 then you have something worth a reasonable premium. It can't be a proof because only Philadelphia made proofs back then, and other than the odd color (which is probably from on old cleaning or something) there is nothing that would even suggest it is not a regular planchet.

Proof coins are not from Denver.
