Sorry I wrote that the R in trust is backwards is this unusual

How would it make the R turn backwards from circulation and only the R

The PMD involves more than just the R. The T and the U are damaged and you can see heavy damage on the bust of Lincoln as well.

Or a peeling struck through debris issue. (note the outline that is peeling on that area?)
