1986 D Roosevelt Dime Error? - Coin Community Forum

I do not think its environmental damage entirely as there is some doubling to the reverse. The whole dimes surface is odd as well. Please let me know what you think :) Report this Post to the Staff

I'm interested to hear what details are doubled on the reverse as that isn't showing in your pics. Could you please give us a little more information about what you are seeing with the coin in hand? UndercoverNudist New Member United States 36 Posts	Posted 10/28/2019 7:06 pm In the reverse the O and n in One looks doubled you can see in pic but in hand there are other things I see like the tree (or whatever it is a branch?) to the left of the torch the top upper right of it appears doubled spread to the east possibly. The back of Roosevelt's head there is a raised blob of metal its smooth but definitely there and the 8 in 1986 looks doubled slightly? Maybe you can see this too ? Ty Report this Post to the Staff
