Probably a cup holder coin. Altered with yuck, acid from the drinks and here is Arizona cooked to death in the heat.

So after looking one under a scope there are raised number all along the Inside of the rim, letters, numbers, and what looked like scratches but were raised in the same coin Color. Raised metal, same color breaking through the W at 2 spots. I could go on but it's tiring, I need a better microscope. The ink on the front seems to be a man shooting an old gun and a man and a kid shooting an old gun. Strike that, I think I see a man shooting a gun with a with bent over next to a kid. Crazy coin!

Possible sugar residue from a soda that transferred the design from another coin?

Rinse off the coin and see if it goes away? (I'm thinking it will go away)

Sugar residue? I'm sure you guys are good at numbers. What are the odds of sugar making a complicated designs on 2 different coins in 2 different areas of the same date and mint...oh and adding raised metal, most in the same color and texture.

Well the other thing that can raise the surface on coins is glue. (Elmer's)

Ok. Humor me since I'm new at this. Theoretically speaking is it possible for the busiest mint in a year they're know for putting out a crap product (from what I've read) of this kind?

Not a joke, it is real. Real damage. But this was altered after it left the mint. Not a mint error.
