1945 Wheat penny Restrike over a possible 1941? Can anyone confirm? Is there are way to determine worth?

@gw76, first welcome to CCF. Second, a 1945/1 overdate would would be quite something. Rather I think that the pattern of grunge in the bottom part of the number 5 looks like a vertical line. You could potentially give this a plain soak in acetone to see what is revealed (no scrubbing or cleaning though).

This just a circulated Wheat cent with a single strike. That is normal. If it had been re-struck, all the other devices would also show that this event happened.
If it were struck twice, it might look like these:

Results after cleaning. It seems that it was dirt. Either way, I definitely learned a lot. Thank you to all!
