Just got 30 Walking Liberty halves on ebay for $187.00 after shipping, averaging $6.2333 on each coin.... melt right now is $6.58, and even then, walkers usually sell for more than $7 a piece (as singles) on ebay....

I think the reasoning for it is this: the seller had them listed in 15 coin lots... if he would have sold at least one set as a 20 coin roll, he would have averaged higher, probably around $135, thus $6.75 a coin at least.

So you've made 35 cents on each coin, about the spread when you try to sell them - not to mention gas and time. You've just made a bullion bet, good luck.

Nice nab! Personally, I'd not go through the hassle just to sell and make a buck or two.

Nah, I'm not going to resell now... I'll wait until silver goes way up, or retirement in 30 years
