I was putting quarters in the washing machine and this quarter would not go in because it is too wide, I attached pictures obverse reverse
and compared with other quarters to ask what is wrong with this quarter?

Funny that a Dryer Coin was being used for a washing machine.

When I read it I instantly though she put the coin "in" the washing machine.

Note a home dryer, but a commercial large dryer. The coin was probably in a pocket and then when it falls from the highest point of the dryer, it flattens the edge of the coin.2018-Michigan-State-Quarter-Thickness-Of-A-Nickel

That's a nice washing machine ya got there! Did it make a lot of scrapie noises with that coin wedged in there?
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

It makes the quarter ( PMD) smaller as well? The washing machine here takes quarters to wash clothes.
