Every quarter from 1965 to 1970 (except 1969 and 1971 Philly) have at least two different reverse design varieties. There are probably a lot of Class III's out there waiting to be found (Reverse design X over reverse design Y).

Here's one that I just found:

I can't tell if it is RDV-006 over RDV-007 or the other way around. It clearly has the short RDV-006 leaf to the left of the arrow over the longer RDV-007 leaf. But then it looks to have the serif N in UNUM from RDV-007 over the straight N of RDV-006.

Either way it's a cool find, it's now listed as CRDR-003: http://crdievarieties.com/doku.php?...0d25ccrdr003

Have you compared it to Variety Vista DDR-006?

The leaf area looks similar?

Yes that one's also a Class III, but I don't see doubling on QUARTER DOLLAR or USA on my coin.

But just the tips are split.
