I just bought this lovely coin. Thanks a lot to the dealer for the very good price.


Myshemihekte "Twenty-fourth Stater". Phokaic standard. Geometric type. Raised counterclockwise swastika pattern / Quadripartite incuse square.

I cannot risk buying ionian and lydian coins even in Turkey. Buying and sending them to NGC, they might come back as a nightmare.

@Spence thank you! It is a challenge in collecting ancient coins here in the Philippines, that is why I buy in abroad and if possible slabbed by NGC.

Chinese counterfeits especially of spanish silver coins and Morgan dollars abound our country.

I'm now looking for a Lydian stater that fits within my budget. :D
