Hi!

I live in Europe and have been collecting Australian pre-decimal for a few years.

Some questions for the experts on this forum:

- Are there any other decent Aussie coin forums with regular posting and activity ?

- Does anyone know of a grading guide for Sydney Mint Gold Sovereigns Type I & II ?
Similar to this ripper little guide:
http://www.anda.com.au/documents/re...%20coins.pdf

- I realize the scans aren't perfect, but if any of you have the time,
please give me an honest opinion of the grade and approximate value in AUD$ of these sovereigns.

Thanks,
Wombat.

We are a family friendly forum and do not refer out to other forums-
just a forum policy and I wouldn't want other moderators deleting my post if I were to tell you if there was one

Are you familiar with the Australian Coins and Banknotes guide by Greg McDonald?

If you take the time to check the main page of the forum
you will find a section on grading.
You will have better luck if you post your pictures there.
We hope you will stick around and share your knowledge with us

You will find we have over 300 Australians registered and active on the forum
Best wishes

I don't know what 'family friendly' has to do with providing you with information. But if that is the policy then so be it. There is an Australian member of an Australian forum that has developed a significant document on grading Australian sovereigns. You'll just have to hope someone tells you who and where Won't be me
