Hi everyone !

Im in need of some teaching !

in trying to determine the mint of this coin , I have run into a problem there are three besides the proof issues choices in Krause for this coin .

I was wondering if someone would walk me through how to determine which mint produced this coin ?

I know that the pictures are not the best I need to retake them !

Hi,
I think I'm seeing a small raised dot just to the right of the base of the "Y" as in PENNY. on the reverse.
If that dot is there, it indicates this is a Perth Mint coin, mintage 12.2M.
The other option would be an "I" on the obverse just under the lower right point of the effigy, indicating Bombay mintage.
There would also be a two dots on the reverse, resembling ".PENNY." --with a second dot before the "P".
Pennies minted in Melbourne this year will be missing all the dots on the reverse (true for most if not all years of Aus pennies)
Aussie collectors--did I miss anything here?
