I got this dollar coin from a 25$ roll at my bank. On the side right before unum there's a sideways D imprint . It looks like an error to me. What does everyone think?

Is there any other marks on the edge? It looks smaller than a Denver mint mark would be. Plus the angle makes me lean towards PMD
