I have found two 09 vdb in circulation in the last two years. From collection dumps also a nice 31d among others it happens that collections get recirculated for whatever reasons. Never prayed so hard for an s in my life as I did after finding my first vdb and realizing I had another in the same group of boxes. Haven't done cents lately been searching singles 5's an 10's for the cherries. Hope to be able to upload images again soon have a few items that I need opinions on. Picking up a hundred in cents and 1-2hundred in singles at some point today. Good luck to everyone on this non stop Easter egg hunt that keeps us on our toes.

I grew up in San Francisco in the 60s and 70s. My Grandfather was a collector. I assembled a mostly complete set in the late 60s with the exception of th 1909 S/vdb. My Grandfather told me that his last "found in pocket change" was in the early 50s. I've looked at over 2 million cents and I've never seen one. OTH I have found more than a few 1909 VDBs. In fact I can tell you for a fact that I have/had two rolls of them.

There's a chance. A friend of mine just had their coins stolen and I'm sure the thief or the buyer didn't know all of what they had. I know some were uncirculated cc Morgans
